Spooky Night 2013

         Ever wondered what the word "Halloween" means ? The name is actually derived as a shortened version of " All Hallows' Even" the eve of all Hallows' Day.  "Hallow" is an Old English word for "holy person," and All Hallows Day is simply another name for "All Saints Day". The day Catholics commemorate all the saints. At some point, people began referring to All Hallows' Even as "Hallowe'en" and then simply "Halloween". Nowadays, Halloween is also correlated with All Souls Day which also pay tributes to the dead.

        Tonight lovies, I will be sharing my ensemble last Nov. 1,2013. I will also be sharing the fun night that we've had in our office. We have designed our station for Halloween and had a little "pika-pika" which was shared by everyone in the office :D

       Nevertheless,  I have picked to wear my black tube tutu dress for the night considering black is our team's motif. Matching it with my black statement necklace, Tory Burch inspired black earrings,black Casio watch and the new addition to my collection gold belt bangle :) . To make my Halloween fab for this year, I have reckoned wearing my gold empire belt too. For my footwear, I have worn my black suede pumps .And lastly, I opted to wear ombre make-up for the night. Ombre means combining two colors that are monochromatic. For example like what I did on my make-up. On my lips, I've combined red and black and a blending of silver and dark blue for my eye shadows to exhaust the Halloween themed ensemble. I suppose, I have already expounded my ensemble for today's blog :D Tee Hee!!!

Welcome to our SPOOKY Halloween 2013 

Biker Babes Community Work (Tabang Sugbohol)

    Just arrived Cebu all the way from Bohol. That's why I preferred blogging tonight because the very memorable experience there was still so fresh to me.

        Last Sunday night, I recieved a call from my manager about an event going to Bohol. He informed me that we will be giving away relief goods to the people in Tubigon who were most affected by the earthquake that struck Central Visayas last Oct. 15,2013. When I found out about the details on what we will be doing on that certain event, Without any adverseness I right away said "YES" . The day after that, I together with the 3 models who were with me during the event and with clients as well, boarded ship around 5 am and arrived Tubigon around 7 am. We headed straight to Sagbayan to start giving away the relief goods we have prepared for them. When we were on our way to our first itinerary, We personally witnessed the very tragic incident that transpired the place. Almost all establishments and houses were torn apart if not, totally wrecked. I've already seen some of those in the news but It's a whole lot different when you get to witness it in person. It really caused more goose bumps to us. The  people there were still in the evacuation area and were just inside their tents not to mention the rain was starting to pour really hard . Approximately we gave out 150 relief goods for each family in our first itinerary which was Sagbayan. Our Second and last stop was in Danao . The situation there was a little better compared to Sagbayan because the people there were no longer staying in the evacuation area.They already returned to their respective houses. The plan was still to distribute other goods in a different area but we can't pass through anymore for the reason that the area was already secluded because of a broken bridge. After giving out our goods in Danao, We were in a rush because we were catching up for the next trip going back to Cebu which was supposedly at 7pm of the same day. When we already reached the pier, We were informed that a typhoon is approaching Central Visayas and that all ships were restricted from cruising by the Philippine Coast Guard. I wanted to cry because there was nothing that we could possibly do but wait til morning or until the typhoon have already passed by Central Visayas. We tried to look for a pension house so we could stay temporarily but all of it were booked.While we were rambling the road and searching for a place to stay, It was  raining hard and the road was very dark due to absence of lights in their posts .Good thing our boss was able to contact his old friend and he let us stay in his house overnight. Finally when morning came, We were already able to book a ticket and had a safe trip back to Cebu.


        Before I finally Forget,Our ensemble for this event was a denim shorts matched with a pair of rubber shoes for the bottom and our black biker babe t-shirt for our top. I preferred accessorizing it with my black and gold spikes bracelet because the event sponsors were Star Touring which is all about motorcycle rides. We were asked to just wear rubber shoes instead of boots for comfort. My experience when I was in Bohol was really tough but I'm still glad I experienced that because if I haven't? I wouldn't be sharing this right now. Teehee :D

              Hiyah!!! Tonight I will be blogging about my latest modelling event which was held last October 26,2013. It was the annual gathering of large-scale bikers and motorcycle clubs worldwide. The event was filled with exhibitions, seminars and bike competitions.
           
              Last Year's Biketoberfest was held on the same date in the same venue which was in Asia Town It Park Cebu. Gathered close to 3000 participants hailing from the Visayas and Mindanao regions during its three-say run, along with a number of member-participants representing different clubs and organizations based in different parts of the world.
         
             Moving on, another thing that made me really happy and blog about it today is that It's also my anniversary in the event modelling. I feel so blessed to still be a part of this event and luckily was chosen among one of the 20 models who ushered members-participants which I also did last year.

             Since the event was about motorcycle and big bikes, our event ensemble must compliment to the riders. We have worn leather boots and sexy white shorts for the bottom and cropped t-shirt top. Last year's top was a black t-shirt and this year it's white. Needless to say, Lemme show you my Biketoberfest 2012 and 2013 ensemble with motorbikes along with the other models too :D teehee!!!!

Dinner Date 17th :D

       Good evening once again lovies! It's Monday and tonight I will be blogging about my ensemble yesterday when me and my boyfie went out to celebrate our 17 months of togetherness. Geesh! 'twas like yesterday since we just started lol. Nevertheless, We opted to celebrate our day in one of the fine dining restaurants in Crown Regency Hotel Cebu . Prior to that, he accompanied me to a spa to do my monthly beauty routine still in the same hotel we have dined. He waited for about an hour (he's is very patient in waiting by the way lol) .
         Moving on,  My ensemble yesterday was a dark blue high waist shorts topped with a black spaghetti straps and covered it up with my new melon orange chiffon blazer. I just saw it at the mall boutique when I was window shopping last Saturday and they dropped it's price to 50% off . If you've been reading my previous post,I'm  very practical when it comes to shopping. And as a practical shopper, without adverseness, I grabbed and paid for it. It was a chance for me to grab! Buying stuff  that is included on my "to buy " list at a very affordable price! I wouldn't buy it if its on a regular price anyway.haha . Regardless, I have worn my chunky rose gold accessories from my very own online shop ( Fashion Pleasures) . Since It was also a laid back Sunday where I didn't have any modelling commitment,  I chose to wear my leopard sneakers for my footwear. Me and my boyfie really enjoyed our night and the romantic dinner together. Excited about my ensemble last night? In 3..2...1... there you go :D

Sunday's Dress

        Dressing up for church on a Sunday is also one of the times I always look forward to. I have a number of compiled dresses in my closet and most of them I normally wear to church. Tonight I will be construing my church ensemble when me and my family went yesterday to Sto. Niño Church here in Cebu,Philippines. It was all over the news that an earthquake struck Cebu and Bohol. Sadly The famous historical church was one of many churches that got struck by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake. It's bell tower at the right side of the church collapsed, filling the church's main entrance with debris. On the contrary, Cebu is still lucky that the damage was just on the bell tower only. We still have to thank God for saving the entire church from the recent calamity. My heart also goes to the people who have totally lost their churches and their loved ones specially to the people in Bohol. And yesterday was a perfect time to reflect, give thanks and ask for salvation to the Lord above.

         Regardless, Sto.Niño is the church where me and my family go during Sundays. I opted to wear my three fourth sleeved gray floral dress . Accessorized it with my cream stone statement necklace and diamond pearl earrings. It was also a perfect ensemble to pair it with my new brown leather statement watch and gold steel high waist belt because it is best for decent and formal outfits.It was almost noon time when we went outside the house so I chose to wear my brown aviator Sunglasses which is a must (lol).  For my footwear, I have picked my three inches beige strap sandals. Nevertheless, My Sunday was spent well :)

Warhawk Event :D

         Good Evening loves !!! I was on an emergency leave for five days because I was looking for a nanny to look after my kids and was very busy doing events a week prior to that. That was the reason why I haven't spent much time thinking on what ensemble to blog about lately. Now I'm back to work and so excited to post my events' ensemble once again hehe. One thing I always look forward to and love the most about doing modelling event is the outfit I will be wearing . You get the chance to wear different sexy and cute ensembles without worrying too much on what people will think about you on wearing those (because you don't wear such on normal days lol). Moving on, Again, I was lucky to be chosen as one among the six "Warhawk Babes" for a World Gamecock Expo Series here in Cebu, Philippines. It was an expo about finest gamecocks and finest breeder feeds. The expo was attended by famous gamecock breeders worldwide. You would probably think what models were doing on an event full of men. We ushered contingents and promoted premium gamecock feeds during the event. It's one way of promoting and advertising the brand's products.

        Now that you already have an idea on what I did for that particular event. Let's proceed to my event outfit. Our event ensemble motif was a red and black dress which is the same color of the brand we represented. It was designed by a certain "Weng". Sorry for not remembering the designer's name though haha. Regardless, The event ensemble was a sleeved short dress and was made of silk spandex .  It was so perfect because it highlights the curves of our body well. We have worn the red dress on the first day of the event and wore the black one on the 2nd and last day. We paired it up with a black footwear. I won't be construing further because I am not really feeling well today. Now this is what I'm talking about :D
